Spoiler alert: Listened to all six podcast episodes.
The conclusion is that he did what I did. Just walked away and dropped out.

BTW, for the listeners and YouTube (not) music watchers amongst us, Snippy has discovered podcasts with a passion, running about 1.4 to 1.6 times normal speed. You can plow through an hour very nicely in about 40 minutes. Even less FFWDing two minutes in the middle on heavily sponsored ones like the Missing Richard Simmons one.
