If they are anything like the deer round here, They are dying to walk on the tracks. Where would you like to tramp thru the woods? 

would you...............walk thru brush and bushes, around trees both standing and fallen, deep snow etc?

or walk down a clear path on a graded right of way?

The Alaska Railroad has a similar problem with Moose.
