So during MIR a AMTK engineer making his first run on a new route on
the first day says he was very aware of the 30mph corner and there was
a "sign" a mile or more in advance that he was looking for...but dint see/missed
in passing. It was still dark out. Sometimes its as simple as this for many disasters.

Even though it's FRA railcar sticker yellow, the sign doesn't look reflectorized/ScotchLite. Maybe, maybe not. I've seen them that color that were just flat yellow paint.
