Well maybe not you per se, but they DO want your eyeballs on the TV when they're broadcasting their take on what they call 'the news,' which we all know is just slightly (?) tilted to the right. But hey that doesn't mean they're wrong right?

We went into one of our favorite breakfast places recently and they'd installed a new TV. There it was, Faux and Friends on view for all to see. Should we quit patronizing them?

I always ask the waiter if they could change the channel or turn the volume low enuff so that I can't hear it.

We went in last week and guess what, no more Fox.  New owners, TV is still there but they set it on the local cable news, known as Spectrum Bay News Nine.

The old owner had it twenty-five years, sold it and retired, I have to wonder why in the last three months or so he had it, he decided to put in a TV and broadcast hate to everyone.

On another note, saw an old man yesterday with a Trump 2020 hat on.  You just want to walk up and say, "MORAN!", but what would you gain and who knows, this is FLA, he might take a Stand Your Ground approach.  What times we live in.

I suggest a gentle hint to the guy, say "Your choice of TV news really sucks!" Maybe try CBS morning or NBC, ABC, anything else BUT FauxNooz! Make sure he knows you're a 'regular,' and you'll tell everybody you know his food stinks, and their service is rotten tu!

Anything to make your point! Including subterfuge! Remember your railroad roots. You CAN do this!
