So when things were going great on the 737MAX project BNSF was sending specialized flatcars with 737 fuselages about 25-30 a week
as a guess to Boeing Plant Everett/Mukilteo and some go on to Renton. So with the 737MAX project grounded until they finger it out the problem
every unfinished 737MAX fuselage in shipment by rail is frozen in place from Witchita KS to Mukilteo WA for a while now. Think this all started last MIR.
Everett has "Tweaker Cam" which is not part of the Virtural Railfan network. Setup originally to provide live video of the area known as Smith Street where there is a mission and oodles of homeless wandering around making drug deals and breaking into local business. So sometimes the person operating the 360 cam points it due east at I-5 and the BNSF below. Great to check this site out if you want to see how the traffic flow through Everett is on I-5 which is usually backed up at this location. Saturday afternoon the cam was pointing east and saw a WB BNSF Q-train pass by with 5-6 Boeing 737MAX fuselages on the point. This about the amount I see normally coming to the Boeing Plant per train. So the 737MAX is still being built daily.
I include the Everett Tweaker cam just incase you want to see the bad/sad people. The bad/sad I-5 traffic. Glimpses of
BNSF trains on the BNSF Scenic Sub and Sealine trains and trains going to Lowell. I need to contact this guy and see if he
can zoom-in on the railroad action more often. Really never know what to expect on this cam. Could be interesting.
