I remember walking through the Minneapolis airport and sawr a shop that sold "everything SPAM" from SPAM to
T-shirts to nightware to towels to posters...everything with "SPAM" on it. They must still eat SPAM in that region.
Think a lot of family's in the 1960's had SPAM for dinner as the "meat entrée". There was no shame at all. Fried-up
it was like ham sausage. Yum. I haven't tasted SPAM in maybe 50 years. I haven't held up a can in the store to read
the ingredients today/lately. Know I absolutely despised the "Devils Ham" product in a sandwich which is some ground-up
SPAM I think. Dreadful.
