So far, the sensitive electronics at Snippylvania Palace have not been harmed by the solar storm. The whole-house surge protector casts a cool eery green glow outside. That's about as close as I can imagineer the Northern Lights.
Neighbors beside & behind us were both watching. I tried taking a movie when the lights started pulsating but failed to get anything viewable. The Tattman camera went dark when I was in Texas. Hopefully not stolen, more likely a battery problem although it has a solar panel attached?
