...another Sunday night, and not a damn thing worth watchin' on television! I gotta do somethin' about this...soon!

I'm thinkin' about cable. Or maybe satellite. Or DirecTV... Then again, I'm never around during 'prime time,' so maybe I'll think this through.

Somebody must have a clue what's best... A little advice would be nice. Lemme know what's best for the bucks!

Thanks in advance!

The internet's pretty damn entertaining at times, so maybe that TV thing's overrated...and costs too damn much anyway!

This just hit my news feeder... By the way, speakin' of news feeds, where the hell's Faux News Feeds? He's usually on top of these things. To wit:

Egypt: Septuplets' mother hopes to hold them soon
August 17, 2008 9:47 AM EDT

CAIRO, Egypt - A day after giving birth to septuplets, a 27-year-old Egyptian woman said Sunday she's only seen her babies on television and hopes to hold them and give them names soon.

Ghazala Khamis is still hospitalized after giving birth a day earlier to four boys and three girls. She said she is "very anxious to see them" and to breast-feed at least some of them.

"I saw them on TV. They are very cute," she told The Associated Press from her hospital bed in the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria.

"I am just waiting to hold them in my arms and breast-feed them," she said in a weak voice. "I don't know if I can do it to all, but I will try."

Her husband and other relatives are brainstorming names, said Khamis, who took fertility drugs to conceive in an effort to produce a son. She is already the mother of three girls, ages 7 to 11.

The family lives in Beheira, a northern province on the fertile Nile delta where, like much of rural Egypt, sons are preferred to daughters.

The newborns, who weigh between 2.3 and 4 pounds (1.5 and 2 kilograms), are being kept in incubators but appear to be healthy, said Dr. Emad Darwish, who delivered the babies Saturday at El-Shatbi Hospital.

He said three remain at El-Shatbi while the other four have been sent to two other hospitals in Alexandria "because we do not have enough incubators."

"They are doing well, but they still need a lot of care," Darwish said.

Khamis was also in good condition, he said, after receiving a blood transfusion because of bleeding during a Caesarean section.

Darwish said he decided to perform a Caesarean at the end of the woman's eighth month of pregnancy due to pressure on her kidneys.

The babies' father is a farm worker who earns about US$4 a day when he is employed, which is usually only a day or two each week, said Khamis' brother, whose name is Khamis Khamis.

He said Egypt's health minister has promised to give the babies free milk and diapers for two years, but the family is still worried about the long-term financial burden of feeding and taking care of a total of ten children.

"What they need most is a dwelling to live in. I hope the government will give them an apartment," Khamis said.

"With the help of Allah, they will make it, but I think it will be difficult," he said.

Egypt's population has tripled since 1952 to 76 million people in 2006, according to the latest census.

This summer, Egypt's government launched a new campaign to raise awareness of the repercussions of explosive population growth. In March, President Hosni Mubarak blamed overpopulation for acute shortages of housing and subsidized bread, which have hurt millions of the nation's poor.

When? Remember the last staff meeting? I can't recall any 'keys' bein' handed over as you say...

But I'll recheck my notes! Meanwhile this might just save regular old television for me. Read this...just in from the live wire:

What are TV's most memorable moments? You decide.
August 18, 2008 8:49 AM EDT

LOS ANGELES - The most memorable moments in television history will be revealed during the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards next month, and it's up to voters to decide which bits should take top honors.

Forty "moments" - 20 dramatic and 20 comedic - are in the running. Comedy contenders include "M-A-S-H," "Mork & Mindy," "Sex and the City" and "The Cosby Show," while "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Miami Vice," "Moonlighting" and "The Sopranos" are among the drama candidates.

The television academy and Emmy show producers came up with the competition and the contenders in honor of the 60th annual presentation of the Emmy Awards.

"It's a perfect opportunity both to celebrate the history of television and at the same time introduce new generations to some of the medium's most important events," Emmys executive producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement Monday.

Fans can watch clips and vote for their favorite moments online until Sept. 15.

The top five vote-getters in each category will be presented during the Emmy show on Sept. 21, and the two winning moments will be revealed just before the year's outstanding drama and comedy series are named.
