'Cousin Vinny' shot; no sign of yewts

Police in the Westchester town of Sleepy Hollow said Anthony (Cousin Vinny) Agnello was shot in the leg during a robbery Friday night but that credit cards and other objects in his hip pocket stopped a second slug.

Agnello, who made headlines in 2001 after supplying strippers for a high school football team party in Chappaqua, was shot in the left thigh after he escorted strippers to a bachelor party.

He told cops that two men tried to steal more than $100,000 worth of jewelry but ultimately fled empty-handed. He was treated and released from a hospital. No arrests were made.

The parents who hosted the infamous team party pleaded guilty to child endangerment and were sentenced to 100 hours of community service. Agnello wasn't charged.
