CSX just informed the REDBLOCK committee that we can no longer raffle off guns to raise funds. I guess it would look bad if you won a gun than shot your boss after the presentation.

Disgruntled postal worker Joseph Harris kills four people in Ridgewood, New Jersey. First he brings an Uzi, pipe bomb, and a samurai sword to his supervisor's home, where he kills her and her fiance. Then Harris visits the post office, shooting two coworkers. When he finally surrenders to police, the gunman is wearing a ninja costume and a gas mask.

Former postal employee Thomas McIlvane shoots and kills four of his ex-coworkers and wounds five others, and then suicides. The act was revenge for his recent firing for lying on his time card. McIlvane's previous work experience includes a dishonorable discharge from the Marine Corps, after he ran over a car with a tank.

Gunman fatally shoots self at US FedEx facility

BEDFORD PARK, Illinois (AP) Police say a gunman who killed himself after firing several shots inside a Chicago-area FedEx shipping center was looking for his wife.

They identified the shooter as 28-year-old Benyamin Robinson. Bedford Park Police Chief Daniel Godfrey says Robinson's wife is an employee at the 24-hour facility and the couple had "recent problems."

He says Robinson walked into the building Thursday morning yelling his wife's name, and she hid in her office.

The gunman fired several shots before fatally shooting himself inside a vehicle at the facility. Nobody else was injured. Police say they found Robinson's body in the vehicle.

The couple's children were found at another location and were safe.

Disgruntled (former) postal worker David Lee Jackson takes seven hostages at a Denver mail sorting facility. He holds them for over nine hours before surrendering to police. Jackson had been fired 18 months previously for threatening his superior.

My uncle Ron worked for the USPS for some 30 years during
the 60's-80's. Don't think he was an alien. Maybe the post
office changed their hiring "criteria" after his time.
