I have "commuted". I no longer "commute". Think Seattle metro area

would get a dark red color like Bombay.

I get a block or two down my street, when I realize "Shit, forgot my wallet!" Hafta go back because my 'clock-in' card is in the wallet... The commute is about a half-mile walk.
