Actually today (21st) the Canadian Dollar dipped below the USA
Dollar. Vancouver BC radio station CKWX was reporting the
Canadian Dollar was now 99 cents. Also "no" waits at the USA
border crossings (I-5) either way. Ineresting.

Back befor 9/11 crossing the border was a breeze. Both ways... Now it's a headache. Last trip up I entered near Sumas, and returned via Northport in Eastern, WA. On my motorcycle. August 2009. Beautiful weather, roads across lower British Columbia...

People were really nice, and the dollar was damn near par, so converting back and forth was just a waste of time.

Soon as I retire, I'm gonna drive up ta Canada again. Just because I can!
