Know for sure my garden area is home to several varieties of
ants. They are working with me.
I see what their "main interest" is and it's a good thing. Seems
every ant is carrying away an insect part or a whole insect to
the nest. Had a couple winters years back when they found a
route inside the house. Quickly made up a batch of Jerry Baker's
"Anti-Ant" tonic and that took care of that. Unless the situation
is "way" out of control, I generally let ants do their thing.
