Yuengling Coming to Dayton

Speedway, UDF, other retailers to carry beer that has not been available west of Pennsylvania

CSP Daily News |October 4, 2011

DAYTON, Ohio -- Yuengling, a Pennsylvania beer long unavailable in Ohio, will hit Dayton retail shelves and bar taps on the last day of October, reported the Dayton Business Journal. Speedway and United Dairy Farmers (UDF), along with Arrow Wine, Kroger and Dorothy Lane Market are among the stores that will carry the brew, Rob VanMetre, Yuengling brand manager for Heidelberg Distributing Co. in Dayton, told the newspaper.

Terrible comparison Pipes. Since Yuengling is America's oldest brewery, dating back to 1829. And Coors is just piss water, which anybody who appreciates good beer knows.

It ain't the price, and Coors is cheap, plentiful, and is the favorite beer of people who like ta piss. A lot.

But quality beer is worth every cent of the price! The taste, the buzz, the head... Yeungling has it all!

Just aks Troll!

Cy hopes that they distribute it to the far western reaches of that state.

Pipes should head on out to his local drive-through, so as to be first in line.

One thing's for sure, you wouldn't have any concerns because you can't brew through here. Nor can you buy it on Sunday.

It has already been released in Northeastern Ohio. I will no longer be a Kennedy-like rum runner transporting liquor across state lines.

Yes, and I always carried some home from FLA. Now, I'll only have to cross one state line.

No, not dry. No Sunday sales except in eat-in establishments. No cold sales in grocery stores, gas stations, etc., cold sales in liquor stores only. No such thing as a drive-through carryout.

Pure truth.  There are lots of folks around here who aren't clear on the concept, even.
