"Criminalises" is a mouth full. I have yet to see "Skype"

transmission that dint look like a transmission from

another planet. Guess the big picture here is a govt

decides one day that something that was ok is now

not ok. It can happen at the worst time.

Skype works well, Krink, don't know what you've been looking at. Used it often when number 3 Valley child was off in South America. Use it still, occasionally.

Okay, so what exactly is "Skype"? I've heard that it is a way ta connect your computer ta make, or receive long-distance phone calls. I thought that was all negated when everybody started using cell phones, instead of regular phones...like my trusty old rotary dial phone.

So now ya say ya can call South America via Skype. I thought ya could always call South America...if ya had a phone, and they (SA) had a phone...

I guess Skype ain't really 'free' per se. Nope! Like anything else, using a telephone line, or airwaves with a cell phone, somebody's gotta make a few bucks.

Skype can also be free, Uke. You can use webcams, see each other, and talk. Trust me, I've done it many times.

Since you probably don't have a webcam, I probably won't be seeing you anytime soon on Skype.

Waaay back...when the usuals were still members of a sort at TRF, I had a connection, and a webcam thingie... The only member who saw me was Briz! And he swore off the live camera thing after that. Yep. Briz just happened ta view me in my striped PJs, or old 'housecoat' early one morn'!

His screen did a meltdown right then, and his webcam ceased working. I suppose my webcam could be hooked up again...

And maybe Skype tu.
