Just like the dramatic jump in booze prices when WA ST got "privatized"
last June. Now you can add about $10 (lots more if you buy the really
expensive bottles like in the $40-50-60 category. The tax seems pro-
rated to the $amount of the bottle and not a flat-rate) to any single-
bottle purchase. Turned my world upsidedown I tell you. Now this is
what I heard about the situation around the Emerald City is an OZ of
the most potent pot known to man is going for $200-225. I remember
back in 2007-08 that pot prices were over the $300 barrier as this current
wave in cultivation of the "most extreme" was showing up everywhere.
I'm still trying to figure-out "who" can afford it today. What are the
"demographics". Who still wants to get stoned everyday if they could?
I can tell you that one hit of the shit today will completely wipe-out
your Mexican dirt-weed full of seeds for $10 and all your Columbian
Gold memories @$50. It will also wipe-out your memories of Thai-sticks
and Panama Red. The weed today can be "tuu strong" if you can believe
that. Well since its strength has only been achieved in the last few years,
I'm guessing that many smokers trying this out of retirement or
abstention, are going to swear its like an acid trip...at first. A little
bit goes a long ways. So I recognize the potential problems coming
forth. Looks like number one there will be no oz's in the $200 range in the
future. I've been involved with weed since I was 19. I made a choice
in 1988 to keep my job on the railroad and went without any form
of intoxication for 10 years or until I took the buyout. I know what
it's like to letgo/give-up something as relaxing as a few hits off the pipe.
I dont know what is more hard to decide...abortion or legalize MJ.

 The best advice of all. Couple plants... For your own use, and not ta be sold! Law enforcement oughta concentrate their efforts on catching real criminals, and putting 'em behind bars. The occasional pot smoker usually ain't bothering anybody, so leave 'em alone!

Hopefully this will be on the table as well... Growing, and posessing a small amount (to be determined) for ones own use, at some definite point!
