I can tell you from a person who buys whole ckickens for the
last 10 years, the price has gone up 50 cents a pound.
Was a $1.49 a LB for about 6-7 years and now its $1.99.
That adds to about $3 to every chicken you buy, which
now for a "whole fryer" in the 4-5lb range is +/- $10.
Still worth it for me.
