It is a horrible "B" movie! Don't bother going... Save your money. It'll never make it as a DVD either!

They had laser disc players at college. I remember people still managed to steal them, which I remember thinking why would you steal something that you can watch for free?, and who has a laser disc player at home?

Ever leading the vanguard, "Mister High Tech" hisownselph and his Beta-Max player. Then again that machine achieved legendary status as an astoundingly short-lived solution.

Was Snippy disappointed? Nope! He just moved on to 'the next big thing'! You show 'em how it's done! They're just jealous, and baphphled... Phukk 'em!

No and No. I went DAT tapes/recorder and Super VHS and Hi-8.

all of which are equally extinct. The "DAT recording machine

by Sony" was such a flop. Had only a couple years of fun

before the "unit" crapped-out on me with nobody that

could "fix-it". Meanwhile I spent nearly a grand on "blank-

tapes" at $15 a pop. So Any body looking for "previously-

enjoyed" DAT tapes for cheap I have some.

Eight track tape player owners? In the beginning, four track players? Yeah, baby!

Think I went down the same road as you Cy as far the
evolution of the "playback machine". My first recording
device was a Hitachi 3" reel to reel tape recorder about 1965.
I used to record songs off the AM radio using the mic.
I new I was a "tapehead" after that. Biggest thing to hit
home-recording was the "Hi-end cassette deck"...like a
TEAC or the later great Nakamichi. I must have recorded
more than 10,000 tapes in my life...but only 3000 are keepers.
Thats what I have ready to play for anyone who wants to
listen to one.
