The temperature in Winnipeg is expected to dip below zero this evening. (JOE BRYKSA / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS)
It's zero out there as you wake up 0!!!!!! feel free to feel dread.
Winter is coming.
And it will be -1 tonight.
But Environment Canada says it will get to 11 plus-11 today and it will be sunny.
Eventually.
Good news is that there's no sign of the S-word in Winnipeg all week. It will get to 11 Monday, a balmy 12 Tuesday, 10 Wednesday, before dropping off to single digits the rest of the week. But though cloudiness abounds most days, it will be dry.

Hmm. That address doesnt look right. It looks like the link pointing here was faulty.
The GPNW is under a high-pressure system above the
jet-stream which means mostly sunny skies and 60
during the day and near freezin at night. Keeping my
eye on the next "stagnet-air alert" and the seasons
first "burn-bans" for woodstoves etc. Need a fire going
in the "late-evening" now. Sposed to be a dry mostly
sunny week ahead which means chilly nights. I got
a full supply of firewood so I'm ready to keep warm.
