After searching several websights... Nobody has anything (photos, descriptions, etc.) about this waterfowl. Finally caught a few shots early this morn, while taking a walk. Anybody else ever seen anything like it? Here's the drake, and the hen, the lone offspring is off feeding solo about 50 yds. away from the parents

They just gobble surface weeds, or dabble. No ducking, just skim along feeding in shallow water.
