Had an airhose separation out on the cutoff the other day. 10,000 ft train, airhose was 50 deep. air came back on rear, I was 1/4 mile from absolute signal, Boss had me pull up far as I could, then he walked rest of way to rear. When he got back to the headend he told me about the pile of bear shit he had found next to the tracks. It was so fresh he was looking to see the bear while walkin the train.
Wondered how he did it that fast. He said it looked like a cow patty, musta been a big bear..........
