Last checked the weather channel had a flash flood advisory issued for all N. CA.
They are going to enjoy some "Jet Stream" fire hose moisture...the same firehose
that's hit the GPNW about 15 times this winter. Wednesday PM in my hood was right
in line with the "Jet". Raining pretty hard for 12hrs straight and the winds...a steady
30-35mh with gust to 50+ then the rain stopped and then the wind stopped and then
the wind picked up to like 30-50 all morning Thursday. In my bed Thursday morning
way before I get up I could hear what sounded like a jet flying over my house only that
jet noise last for 3hrs...that's how fierce the winds were. Havent got any readings yet
on some of the wind speeds but its way over 50mph. One of these gusts ripped off
the lid to my chimney cap...found it laying in my back yard. Which presents a big problem
for me as I don't have ability to get on my roof anymore because I've become scared to
climb up a 20ft ladder. Really need to get that chimney lid back on. Inbetween storms
on Friday.

Well it looks a quick repeat of last Wed/Thurs wind/rain storm for Sunday noon to midnight
and a wind advisory of 70mph winds up the whole I-5 corridor plus lot more rain/snow.
This storm going to be enhanced by the celestial aspects of Mercury square Saturn and
Venus square Mars and Mercury oppose Jupiter. This storm is going to leave a mark.
I found someone to climb a 24ft ladder onto my roof weather permitting and help me
with my chimney cap issue Sunday.

Well the chimney cap lid replacement appointment got postponed to maybe Tuesday.
Sunday noon is was pouring out and the first of maybe 20 pulses of really gusty winds
that would last for 5 minutes and then calm and then another pulse of gusty winds
gradually getting stronger to the 50-60 mph range. Its a miracle I never lost power
during this storm as about 50k are with out power tonight in my county and maybe
250k in the region. The storm was as strong as predicted. Forks on the WA peninsula
got a gust of 80mph and I'm sure more high mph gusts will be known come Mondays
newspaper. It was a wild 6hrs. Tonight its perfectly calm and the frogs are roaring.
Big cleanup in other places than my hood. 100's of trees came down.
