Suspect in road rage turns himself in
The man Hillsborough sheriff's deputies say pulled a gun on someone during an episode of road rage earlier this month was arrested Wednesday after turning himself in.
James Marcus Burke, 48, of Palm Harbor now faces charges of aggravated assault.
Authorities say Burke got out of his white Lexus on Crawley Road near Keystone Grove after chasing down another car. He then forced the other vehicle to stop by pulling in front of it.
Once outside his car, Burke brandished a black handgun. Investigators said he pointed it at the other car. When Burke noticed one of the car's passengers recording him, he got back into the Lexus and fled.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office released video of the altercation Monday, seeking help in identifying Burke.
Burke, according to jail records, works for UPS as an airline captain.
He's being held in Hillsborough County jail without bail meaning it's likely he'll spend his 49th birthday Saturday behind bars.
