Think its been 25+ years since I was last in Pysht WA. Not sure how the town got its
name unless its from the Pysht River that passes through town. Think a logging railroad
went through Pysht at one time long ago. If you take SR112 west of Port Angeles it takes
you the driver on a northern drive up very near the Straits of Juan de Fuca but the hour
drive is mostly spent driving through miles of tree lined highway but once you hit "Twin"
SR 112 is close to the beach for about 5-miles and before you know it...you are in Pysht.
