This one tore the bell tower off and bitched up a perfectly good Church. It was a Mexican driver from Chicago with a load of pipe trying to go around (You guessed it) the truck scales on Rt 219. My Foreman lives across the street, saw it happen, and went over and helped the guy get out of what was left of the cab. Then there's this. Also from Calvinistan;

CUMBERLAND A 23-year-old man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Bedford Street residence Friday afternoon, Cumberland Police said.

City police and fire department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Bedford around 1 p.m. for a report of a gunshot wound. The victim was treated at the scene, police said, but subsequently died after transport to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

The victim was not identified and police said no foul play was suspected.

A second suspected shooting incident is being investigated by the Allegany County Sheriff's Office.

It was about 2 p.m. when law enforcement and fire and EMS personnel were sent to Squirrel Neck Road near Midland for a reported fatal shooting.

That victim was reportedly found by an Allegany County roads crew and was lying in the back of a pickup truck.

Further details about that incident were not immediately available.

I'm thinking that there may be whole lot of "Oh, fuck" time jumping off the back of a cruise ship. (Besides, the cruise lines are trying to claim you can't do that anymore on the new boats? Depositions on that English crew member.)
