Thought for sure I'd finally lost my mind, so I looked it up, and yep! It's a real thing, and happening nearby! A THC Fair. Everything ya thought ya wanted ta know about marijuana, and schitt! Since the state of Ory-gun made weed legal, it's everywhere, including Lebanon!
This sleepy little burg of 16-18000 citizens now hosts 4 (four) cannabis shops. What next? Anybody's guess. I guess...
I moved down here to get shed of that 'city slicker' bunck, and the hipster coolness of Seattle. I had my sights on a little house just on the near north side of town. But somebody else snagged that one before my bid went in...
The thing is I like living here, so I stay. Honestly I came ta hate Seattle, and most of Washington. It's overpopulated, un-affordable, unfriendly, and it has nothing I need! So phukk 'em!

Right on the money about Warshington.
Up here in Bellingham, average domicile goes for around 400 grand +/- .
Shortage of housing though. Unless you're a Derelict, then you can sleep, eat and shit in the downtown businesses door ways.
Cops won't bother with your ass unless its overtime parking or some other major offence.
My ex-UP Idaho panhandle buddy east of Spokane says the cost of living has really gone up since everyone moved there.... He and his wife love it, though.
edit- Rathdrum, ID ... had tu look it up

The Krink wishes Iron-Chink all the best on the move to completely different surroundings and weather.
Must like your winters nice and frozen. Iron-Chink likes to ski maybe.

The big BNSF located their northern fuel stop just outside Rathdrum, on the north side of town. Since that joint runs 24/7/365 and employs hundreds, the surrounding areas have become overpopulated. And resulting real estate prices have soared. You'd do well to think further afield if you're set on the Idaho panhandle. Further north of Rathdrum would be my guess.

It's Hauser Idaho which is the fueling of all BNSF trains that pass through and BNSF crew change point for Spokane WA.
Hauser much like Belen NM as the "fuel pads always full" as traffic through "The Funnel" keeps increasing. Not sure the
current amount of trains through the Funnel but like 50-70 a day. So Hauser became a BNSF railroad town considering
all the Spokane crews in pool service are going to work in Hauser. Sure some were not happy about that. Not the worst
drive to work as Hauser just past the WA/ID state line maybe 15-20 minutes away.
