The press is doing this to tug at your heart strings......
I guess it would only affect those who have a heart.
The First Amendment keeps us free as long as we protect it from the con men who hide from the truth by yelling 'fake news'. Never underestimate the value of a free press in a free society.
First one looks like Viet Nam photo. second one is genuine.
They're both genuine. File them under "Images That Change History". Thousands of examples of images that take you there better than words:
The incredible Pulitzer Prize-winning photo from the second the car mowed down Heather Heyer in Charlottesville.
Emmett Till's corpse. His mother insisted the photo be publicized.
Kent State.
Hindenberg.
Viet Nam assassination.
The Syrian boy washed up on the beach.
Zapruder JFK assassination images.
Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated.
From the sticker on the truck to the airborne mayhem of people and shoes and cellphones, this image is incredible. (Anybody who has been unfortunate enough to see someone hit so hard they were knocked out of their shoes on the railroad knows....)
"No Man Stands So Tall As When He Stoops To Help A Child"

The thing is I do have a heart, and I don't need pictures to know what's going on at the border. I don't need to see the towers fall, I don't need to see the Challenger blow up. I just don't need it.

Taken by Huynh Cong Ut, this photograph of the devastating impact of a napalm attack is the most iconic image of the Vietnam War. The girl in the center of the photograph is 9-year old Kim Phúc, who is running away from the attack with severe burns.
