Trump sez, "Get ready to evacuate if they tell ya ta move!" Most likely they mean what they're talking about. They're the experts. However 'the dear leader' has been acting more like a weatherman, self-appointed of course. No shit!

The thing is, could it happen here? Where you may ask. Well let me be the first to tell y'all. The GPNW. yep right here on the Pacific side, or the Left Coast. You know Mexico, California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia... Yes it could. And might. But when?  Nobody knows. But there is a storm brewing a couple thousand miles off the western edge of Mexico that could come here! Yep.

Tropical Storm Juliette

On the Pacific side of the continent sits Tropical Storm Juliette.
Juliette is about 1,090 miles from the southern tip of Baja California, the NHC said.
No warnings or watches have been issued for Juliette. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, but it is expected to weaken steadily. "Juliette is expected to become a post-tropical remnant low Saturday," the NHC said.

Maybe Mr. The Krink can fill in the details with a planetary prediction. Or something. Perhaps a warning? Ya can't always figure these things out. Like Dorian. It completely missed the Vagina area, and our pal "Snippy's" hood, and skipped the greater part of the east coast, only to move on up ta Maine, and maritime Canada. Nova Scotia, and Quebec, Labrador, etc.

Now what about the West Coast? Only Mr. The Krink knows

Well shut my mouth! Canada it iz! By Gawd (You know...) as was hinted in a previous post, only now it's a post-hurricane tropical cyclone, WTF (?). Yet it's still not a good storm by any means. Just look

Did brother TW5K move to Nova Scotia? Uke's question about a hurricane coming up the west coast really not possible
mainly because Pacific Ocean 55F from San Francisco to Anchorage. The Jet Stream can deliver storms close to hurricane
strength though. A wild and electric night in the I-5 corridor from Olympia to Bellingham Saturday night. The Cal vs UW Huskiez
game had a 2hr 39minute delay due to lightning and still going on at 1:15AM. My hood had 100's of lightning strikes over a 2hr
period. All kinds of different lightning going on. I had a couple dozen of the "Big Flash Bulb" lightning strikes that illuminated
every detail of my hood for 2 seconds. Got first measurable rain in a long time. Game over...Cal kicks a FG with 8 seconds to beat
UW 20-19 at 1:22AM.

YouTube loaded with videos of the Seattle/elsewhere T-Storm Saturday night the 7th of September.
Somehow they "counted it up" all the lightning strikes and its like 2200+ and of course my county had the
most of nearly 900. Weird storm. Sunday afternoon about 4pm I/we/me witnessed a cloudburst of rain
coming down at the "inch per 15 minutes rate". Thankfully it stopped after 15 minutes because things were
starting to flood. I got pictures of a very similar cloudburst last year that might be just a few raindrops worse
but this is now and these kind of rainfall rates just don't happen in GPNW history...until now.
